Hello out there in E-World

I must apologise for my extreme lack in posting things that you don’t care about. I was listening to Stephen Fry’s podgram – which by the way you should check out – and he said that if you give a person a bit of space to share their thoughts like a newspaper column or a Blog, that they will assume there opinion is more important than anyone else’s. I hope I don’t come across in that way.

I’m currently doing my GCSE’s at the moment. I have my first exam of this year coming up – Maths. So hopefully that goes well. I’ve been in Year 11 for just over a week now and it’s going pretty well. The timetable is basically the same as last year albeit with more or less people in each class.

Tomorrow I am finally getting an office chair to use at my desk. I can throw out this horrible, hard chair and finally kick back and watch some T.V on my computer with a cup of tea or coffee.

Forgive me if I don’t blog frequently but I’ll try to fill in the gaps every couple of days with anything.

Google Chrome

This is Google’s attempt at a web broswer. It’s actually very good and feels good to use.

Various websites claim that it is faster than Internet Explorer and Firefox. It looks very attractive – specially in Aero. Havn’t tried it yet? Then give it a go.

The Sims 2

Just got back into The Sims 2. So here is the story so far: I have a huge house, £10,000,000, I am engadged to someone who’s name I don’t know, I have loads of gadgets and things to do around the house and best of all: I don’t work.

Here are some low quality snapshots of my house – low because of the default snap settings.

Year 11

Year 11 Is great. The start of Year 10 was tricky because the years were messed around so about half the year was new to each other, so getting in the right “place” was hard.

Year 11 just seemed to start like we were only away for a weekend. Some of the rooms were pointlessly updated with new tables and chairs, but they look a little cleaner.

New software like Adobe Master Collection and Office 2007 installed, glad they finally updated.

This Year is going to be a good one.
