stevenknight.info I’ve been working very hard on a new project that I may launch later on in the year. I’m hoping that I’ve made an easy to navigate, efficiently coded and visually striking design. If you’re interested in a sneak peak, continue reading below.

It feels like I haven’t posted in ages. Well, that’s because I’ve been working on a brand new website which will probably launch around May 2009, I might post a screenshot of it in the mean time, I’m very, very pleased with how it’s turned out.

You may also notice the new theme – as I hadn’t made a Wordpress theme before, Initial Sketch kindly threw a rough code together using a PSD mock-up I had made. Then I spent probably 8 hours adjusting the main bits of code, whilst adding new sections and code to make the blog work and look brilliantly.

I would like to add that neither Stevey.biz or this blog support Internet Explorer 6. I’ve had enough of it, I tried to make my websites work in Internet Explorer 6, but isn’t Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Safari and Chrome enough to deal with? Therefore, I no longer care what any of my sites look like on it.

Despite not having posted in a while. I haven’t got much to say. I may update with a blessay or something later on this week.

Modern – a free website theme by me

0

This is my first website that I’ve made for public use, be kind and comment please. Feel free to edit and use it, just keep my small advert in the footer.

100% valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Works and looks the same in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

The download includes:

  • Website theme.
  • PSDs to edit for theme – header, foreword, showcase and whole website.
  • Fonts – it’s just Myriad Pro, nothing most computers don’t have, Arial is used instead if not present, it just doesn’t look as good.

Note: I made this a long time ago so the code is a bit messy and a bit wrong – infact, I cringe when I look at the source code. I will keep it here as a reference to showcase my early attempts at main stream web developing.
